Holy Communion Card For Girls

Rachel made us very proud last week as she did her First Holy Communion.  The card I made for  her was using the Church Template I have on my site, I made some adjustments to the template allowing the card to close.

Holy Communion Invitations for Girls

I just finished handing out Holy Communion invitation for my daughter Rachel and this card is special to me as Rachel and I had worked on it together, she loved this stamp set and request vellum to be included on the card, Rachel and I were happy with the results.  I stamped on vellum with Stazon black ink and the owl with Stampin' Up! and before attaching the vellum to the base of the card with vellum tape, I ran the card through the big shot and Vintage Wall impression folder by Stampin' Up!  A bling and pink ribbon tied it up nicely.

Holy Communion Cards

Holy Communion and Confirmations are the topics of conversation that's going on around the house.  I have one of my daughters doing her Holy Communion and both my son and niece are doing there Confirmation this year.  We are all buzzing with excitement and with invitations and congratulation cards to make, it should keep me busy.  This card was inspired from our church window and I loved using the ultra thin boarder stickers.  When you look through the window you can see a dove and a girl praying.

Communion Cards For Boys

This Communion card for boys was made for my son and he still has it on displays on his tall boy. I used a lilac metallic card stock and punched through the card 3 times with the weave punch and added purple brads. I printed Holy Communion and inked the edges and attached it to the card with double side foam. The ribbon, mirror and the boy praying was attached with double side tape.

Holy Communion Invitations

At the time of making these invitations, I had just received the Stampin' Up set - Carte Postale and thought this would be a great set to use for Holy Communion invitations. I purchased silver metallic blank cards and with my computer I printed out the details inside the card and stamping each corner. In the front of the invitation I stamped the image twice with different colours, cutting one around the circle only then mounting it with double sided dots giving the image depth.
Love to craft....Sandra
