Tweetie Birthday

Ink up your solid stamp images onto Stampin Up Whisper White card stock and press down firmly.

I found using Stampin Up card stock perfect for solid stamping.

To make cutting easier I separated the images first using paper cutting scissors, scissors that are not razer sharp will end up a bit messy .

I use Stampin Up stamping set Good Friend and Petal Pizzazz.

When cutting your image out get as close as possible to your image and move the card stock not the scissors around your image when cutting, you will found this method easier and you will get a better look.

Once you have cut all your pieces out it should look this.  I used Stampin Up Classic Ink Pads - Green Galore, Pixie Pink Real Red for the flowers, Chocolate Chip for the legs, Tempting Turquoise for the bird and a Orange Marker for the Beak.

Before adding your stamped images onto your Stampin Up Whisper White card stock tie a ribbon right around and form a bow.

While the solid stamped images are not attached this is the perfect time to play around and move yours images around your white card stock and once you are happy with it, use double sided tape.

I also used 3D foam tape onto the flowers to give the raised affected.

Add your Happy Birthday stamp and then add double sided tape to the white card stock and mount to the base of your card using Stampin Up Pixie Pink card stock.

Snappy Birthday

Stamp with black ink onto white card stock and with red and black markers colour in the crab.

Trip around the image and colour the background with light blue and yellow markers, using Glu tack onto the sandy image to add Glitter powder.

Then with a pair of scissors ruffle the edges.

Using double sided tape at the back of this card to hold the end bits of the ribbon.

Mount the blue card stock onto the base of the card with double sided take and use 3D foam tape onto the image then add to the card.

Add a present to the image then stamp snappy birthday onto white card stock and use yellow chalk, layer this with two coloured card stock-red and blue and mount onto card with 3D foam tape.

Kissing

Directions:
  1. Ink a patterned stamp, such as one of our background stamps (Figure 1).
  2. Press a solid, uninked stamp against the patterned stamp, transferring the pattern to the solid stamp (Figure 2).
  3. Stamp the image on card stock.
Tip:
  1. Try the technique in reverse. Follow the same steps as above, only use the patterned stamp to create an image, instead of the solid stamp.  In this case, the goal is not to add ink to the solid stamp but to take away ink from the pattern for a tone-on-tone look.

Stampin' Pastels

Technique A: Chalking

1]   Apply pastel colour to your card stock or paper with a sponge-tip applicator, cotton swab, sponge dauber, or stiff paintbrush.
2]   Blend the colours as desired with the applicators or blender pen. When using blender pens,
just touch the pen directly to the corner of the chalk to pick up the colour.

Technique B: Poppin' Pastels

1]   Stamp the image with a white Craft Stampin' Pad or VersaMark ink pad.
2]   Use sponge daubers to apply the pastel colour directly to the ink.
3]   Blow off any excess powder. (Repeat this process if you are using this technique with a Two-Step Stampin' set.)

QUICK TIP To avoid smearing, gently dab the chalk rather than rubbing it across the image.

UK Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine

I was featured in a UK Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine issue 71.  It was a great thrill and the stamp set I used was a Stampin' Up set Fishy Friends - one of many from my favourites.

Christmas Glitter

I used white card stock as the base of this card then with the green card stock I chose to stamp a Christmas background by Hero Arts with Versamark then attached it to the card.  With the red card stock I used the Big Shot and embossed it with a Sizzix template Holly and Berries and with a bit of sanding you have another background piece to attach to the card.  The tree by Victoria's Secret - Curly Christmas Tree is stamped on white Stampin' Up card stock with gold Encore Ultimate Metallic ink pad, chalked with Kaisercolour Pearlescent Chalk set then with gel glitter pens to highlight the tree.  The tree was mounted on green card stock and with a pear of scissors I distressed each side of the green card then mounted this to the card with 3D foam.  The words Friends and Family is by Penny Black which was stamped with gold ink on white card stock then mounted with red and green card stock for a layered affected then mounted with 3D foam onto the card.  This card is now completed and for those who would like this shown on video please express your interest.

Christmas by Nature

After selecting your coloured card stock plum for the base, mount pink card stock.  With Stampin' Up stamp set Bloom Away use StazOn black ink to stamp the image.  Then with coloured markers and a water brush to colour in the image.  This card can be used a Christmas or birthday card.

Christmas Glitter

No stamping required for this one.  The company Paper Square sale this pattern paper and with a bit a glitter here and there, you've got yourself a Christmas card.  Select white card stock for this card. and cut to size Christmas patterned paper and attach to the bottom part of  the card.  Add double sided tape at the top and bottom of the patterned paper and once you peel off the protection sheet, dip your card into silver glitter - the glitter will only attach to the double sided tape.  To make the center piece cut to size black card stock and add double sided tape to most of it, leaving some black at each sides.  Before adding glitter cut more pattered paper like this tree and add this to the middle, then dip it in green glitter.  Brush away any extra glitter with a soft brush and mount this to your card.  You know have a stamp free Christmas Card.  Enjoy!!

Christmas Cards

This beautiful stamp set is by Kaszazz - Merry Christmas Bold, Pine Tree-Flourish Large with Merry Christmas greeting paper. First you Stamp Merry Christmas with red ink at the top, attach patterned paper to the bottom of the card with double sided tape.  Use different colour Distress Ink at each sides of the card, then attach burgundy stripe card stock and add this to the card and then add two gem stones.  On a separate piece of white card stock stamp the Christmas tree with StazOn black ink, then with Distress inks cover the tree and spray lightly with water onto the tree so the colours will blend.  Then mount tree to the card.

Christmas Tree

This stamp design is by Penny Black - Home for Christmas and Friends and Family which was stamped onto white card stock with gold ink and decorated with gem stones and coloured glitter glues.  This was mounted to red card stock and then added to the base of the card.

Birthday Card Book

I gave this card a distressed look by smudging VersaMark ink pad over the burgundy card.  I teared patterned paper and added to the card.  I used Stampin' Up Nice & Easy Notes stamp set and then coloured chalks.  I mounted the image with blue card stock and attached it to the card with 3D foam.

In the inside of this card I used eyelet setter to punch out two holes through the papers and the back of the card this always me to add the blue ribbon,  holding all the papers together.  I created the tag by printing the image and sprayed Fixative to protect the image from fading.  I create a pouch at the bottom to fit the tag in.
