Teenage Boy's Birthday Card

This one was for my 15 year old nephew's birthday.  I used Stampin' Up Crab & Company and markers to colour in.  I love this stamp set and it was fun colouring in.

Spring Card Tutorial

My very first Tutorial on the Spring Card butterfly so check it out and let me know what you think about it. Just click Tutorials.

Spring Card Butterfly

When you print the template score the lines as shown. It may appear there is a square piece missing from this template but don't worry this template is designed to make the spring card big we add the square later.

Once lines are scored bend fold the lines so you are left with a point and the base is facing you.

This is how it should look like.

Know bend the triangle back and let go it should spring back up.

This is where we add a square card stock.

This square should be light so try to use light card stock.

I have provided the square template on the bottom.

You might don't be able to see the template because I drew it lightly so you can use this straight on card stock when printing.

Depending on your printer size not be the same.

To make your own template of square, draw around the triangle and flip it over and trace the triangle again if you a perfect square.

Decorate the square before adding this on the spring card.

Use adhesive on the lower part of the triangle.

Now you have a big spring card.

Birthday Card With Fiskars

I love butterflies as you have probably guested by now. First I emboss Happy Birthday onto the card. Then I used Fiskars Butterfly No.2 template, then added ribbon stripe, decorative paper and some flower embellishments.

40th Birthday Card

This birthday card was for a 40th, I used by Big Shot-Sizzlits Butterfly#2. I love using glitter as you can see. I put the wings through a Xyron machine to give me sticky wings without making the card stock wet, I then added Jones Tones Glitter powder which gave me the finishing touch I was looking for.

Birthday Card With Stamp-It Bear

This is a money birthday cards, I really enjoyed making these so I made a batch of them and then added the stamp later. I coloured in with chalks and when I was finished, I used Fixative spray so the chalk won't fade or smudge-highly recommend it. This stamp is by Stamp-it in Australia and if you are a bear lover, I know you would love this one.

This stamp can be used for both male or female and is great for 40th birthdays. I particularly liked the amount of candles the hedge hog is holding.  I coloured the image with markers and a blender pen and using quality paper makes the task at hand easier. I added Pearlescent chalks to give the picture a shine and sprayed Fixative over the chalk so the chalk won't rub off. When you open this card there is a pouch that holds money or a voucher.

Boys Birthday Cards

Boys Boys Boys and I don't mean the song by Lady Gaga. It's hard to make boys or mens cards so with the help of Stampin Up stamps- Fishy Fish I was able to come up with this. Hope you like it.

Confirmation Card For Girls

This is a girl version of a Confirmation or Holy Communion card. You should be able to get the little girl at a craft shops may have something similar. For this card I used metallic pink card stock and punched through the card 3 times with the weave punch and added 3 pink gems. I printed Confirmation on separate card stock cut and inked the edges and attached it to the card with double side foam. The ribbon, mirror and the girl praying was attached with double side tape.

Easter Chick

This is a card I made for Easter. I didn't us my stamps like I wanted to but I did use my punches, the oval punch for the egg so I was happy about that. I also used the Glitter Mat Stack which I purchased at Big W. I had a lot of fun using this patterned paper.

Communion Cards For Boys

This Communion card for boys was made for my son and he still has it on displays on his tall boy. I used a lilac metallic card stock and punched through the card 3 times with the weave punch and added purple brads. I printed Holy Communion and inked the edges and attached it to the card with double side foam. The ribbon, mirror and the boy praying was attached with double side tape.

40th Birthday Invitations

I used pink metallic card stock and patterned paper.  Then with Penny Black Evening Glow I  stamped it on Almost Vanilla card stock by Stampin' Up.  I used coloured markers on image which worked well with Stampin' Up card stock.  I mounted the image on blue card stock before adding it to the card, a little note - It's a party!  And you've got yourself a party invitation.
